Background Information on our Trip to Hong Kong

Background to the Creation of our Trip to Hong Kong - for over a year, Hill Top students, who are interested have enrolled during the school year and the summer sessions at BSD Academy.  A private academy to teach coding, robotics, web design and cutting edge technology.  When we first met with the staff at BSD and its CEO, we learned that they actually began in Hong Kong by Chris Geary.  Learning that Chris and I shared common knowledge of several of the private schools in Hong Kong, it was proposed that Hill Top and BSD could work with a small group of HTPS students who were the first to begin in the first partnership classes at BSD to organize a trip to Hong Kong for the purpose of students seeing the international nature of technology.  As we talked more it quickly began to grow from a simple tourist trip to Hong Kong and some classes in BSD Academy Hong Kong to now include all of that plus a day long trip across the border into Mainland China to meet with expats from other countries who live there to run their companies that are entrepreneurial and focused on the hardware industry.  We are also planning to visit the Hong Kong office of SEI Corporation as we have partnered with SEI here in Oaks, PA AND we are also visiting a school in Kowloon that is known for the research and program design for students on the spectrum.
We leave on the evening of November 10th for Newark airport and depart for Hong Kong at 1am on the 11th.
